Engineers' problem-solving skills face diverse new challenges. In addition to having solid subject-specific knowledge, engineers are increasingly expected to possess international competence and language skills.
Students in Finland can complete the Bachelor of Engineering degree in English. This page tells the stories of a few people who have wanted to study engineering while also improving their ability to respond to international challenges.

Myths Myth: Engineering work is formulaic and doesn't allow for self-expression. Truth: An engineer's work can be highly creative and expressive. Engineers are known as ideators, creators and developers. Bachelors of Engineering find employment in very diverse positions. The membership of the Union of Professional Engineers in Finland comprises more than 3,000 job titles. They are bound to include something for everyone's interests. |
